Metal Plating Specialists

PPC is in the business of technical precision anodising and metal finishing.
Its services include: plating metal with chrome, nickel, zinc or chemical black, but by far the largest area in which it deals is anodising, an electro-chemical process which converts the surface of aluminium to a film of Aluminium Oxide. The purpose is either to produce a protective/electrically insulated coating to enhance corrosion resistance or to provide a base of coloured dyeing of the metal. Hard anodising is a similar process but one which uses different temperatures and process times to produce harder and deeper anodic films.

From Land, Sea, Sky and beyond

PPC's sales base is largely dominated by the automotive industry which include a wide range of Formula One Racing Teams of which Lola Cars International is one of PPC's largest customers. Our large customer base means we service the electronics, camera and other instrument industries. Different items plated also find their way into the most unlikely places, such as under water attachments to dolphins, while other examples have gone into outer space.
